Fix it sooner rather than later!
When you know you have a plumbing problem and can get it fixed right away, you save yourself from further repairs that can end up being extremely costly! Below are some common plumbing problems that if left unattended can end up costing you in the long run.

Leaking Taps
A leaking tap may not seem like a massive problem, whats a few drops wasted? It may not seem like much, but when added up over a period of time, that leaky taps impact can be fairly substantial. A tap that drips six drops a minute will lose 1,200 litres of water annually, that's equivalent to seven bathtubs!! That much water wastage can bring a substantial fee to your water bills, not to mention the environment.

Flexi Hoses
These little hoses can be found all around your home, and whilst they do their job well they can also cost you thousands of dollars worth of damage if not kept an eye on and replaced when needed! One of the most common causes of internal flooding in homes is from a burst flexible water hose, or ‘flexi hose'. The best way to avoid a disaster such as flooding your home, is to have a licenced plumber install all flexible water hoses.

Blocked Toilet
Blocked toilets are a common problem, but many of us think the blockage will go away on its own. If a plunger doesn't work, avoid constantly flushing your toilet as this can cause dirty water to spill out into your house and cause damage! By calling a licensed plumber as soon as a blockage occurs, you save yourself from further damages and a costly bill.

Leaking Hot Water System
A leaking hot water system can be caused from many things, it could mean your system is on its way out or it could just need adjustment. Weather its an electric or gas system, leaks should not occur. If you notice your system is begging to leak its better to take action ASAP, this could prevent the entire system needing replacment.
